Today is my 33rd birthday and the start of my 34th year on this planet called Earth. I have:

lived in 4 states
had 6 US Presidents
despised the feel of velvet til the end of time
graduated High School
had 1 pet
acquired 5 nephews and nieces
lost two grandparents
had 6 jobs
finally got the correct neurological diagnosis after 2 inaccurate ones
gone to Horse Camp
been a Girl Scout
lived with both siblings’ families and my mother (and briefly my father)
gone to Prom
had my taste buds get even pickier over time
took some college classes
gotten into a couple auto accident
never broken a bone (at least that I know of)
had many fandoms that I was obsessed with
made many friends who I sadly never get to hang out with

But I still don’t understand: Taxes, lawyer speak, medical speak, financial speak, why people keep putting garlic on things, the rich getting richer and not caring about the poorer, the 40hr work week and crap minimum wage, the price of living in this country, why sites seem to hate their userbase, judging people based on race/religion/gender/sexuality/color, why restaurants don’t understand that plain means no garnish, the lack of personally tailored education and so many other things.

So as I start my next year of life I will endeavor to understand some of these, accept others and hope that the rest get better with time. (and protest if they don’t). Here’s to another year on this planet we call Earth (takes a shot of Diet Coke)

I have finally fulfilled a years long desire of coloring my hair with blue and purple.

My contribution to Thanksgiving, a rice Krispie Turkey with Reeses Pieces stuffing. Made with assistance from the 2nd nephew.

In other news, my dad wants me to add more things to my Amazon Wish List for Christmas. I’ve told him that I prefer practical items that I can use rather than books and other things that take up space. But he wants me to add more entertaining items. Right now it contains some Nancy Drew Games and gift cards, plus a MacBook Air but I doubt anyone will get me it.

So any ideas for practical yet entertaining things that I can add to my Wish List? Either that can be used in my daily life or help me with improving my video blogging?
